Electromyography

Electromyography evaluates the pathophysiological condition of the muscular and nervous peripheral systems and it is composed of the nerve conduction velocities (electroneurography) and the needle electromyography.

The electroneurography evaluates the conduction velocity of an electrical stimulus along the nerve, the amplitude of the sensor or motor action potentials, and the distal latency. The needle exam measures the spontaneous and voluntary muscle activity, the amplitude, the duration, and the number of motor units potentials.

EB Neuro designed advanced portable systems as Nemus and Nemus 2 to perform EMG/NCV/EP exams even in the most critical environments.
