Brain Computer Interface (BCI)
The BCI aims to develop a communicating channel between the human brain and an external device without involving motor processes. It monitors the changes in the brain activity with electroencephalogram (EEG) or electrocorticogram (ECoG) and turns them into control signals, which can be used in several activities such as moving objects, writing letters, opening doors, change TV channels, and others.
BCI systems can be used to increase the motility of paralyzed patients, to enhance the communication of patients suffering from impaired consciousness (OCD), severe brain injury or block syndrome and the environment, to support the post-stroke motor rehabilitation and brain mapping procedures.
EB Neuro designed a complete range of solutions specifically for BCI research to meet the different specific clinical needs of hospitals, private clinics, universities and research centers. We collaborate with leading clinical researchers and local universities to incorporate the latest technical and technological advancements into our products.
